System specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte First I found out that I needed to update the BIOS to at least version F14 for it to be compatible with my Ryzen 5700x cpu. 1. Even took out the bios battery and put it back in after about 10 mins. Issues with the motherboard, such as damaged components, a bad BIOS chip, or even a short circuit, can prevent the computer from posting. Tried the PSU on my old PC (couldnt test the CPU, a Ryzen 5 3600) and it worked just fine. Boot was sucesfull after removing RAM in slot B2, so only A2 slot was active. If I turn off and turn on the PSU, the PC boots fine however if I shut down or restart, it doesn't POST at all, but the fans are running and the Q-LEDs light up red, yellow and then off and nothing happens after that until I restart the PSU again, and then it boots fine again. From there I started adding components one at a time with the mobo still laying flat outside the case.
